TRADITIONAL FUNERAL

Our Traditional Funeral option starts from $2,530.  

The Traditional Funeral is an option that works with both cremation and burial services and includes the full funeral cortege and funeral director services.

The Traditional Funeral price does not include the price of the burial plot or crematoria. These prices are set by the local council and/or owners and we will provide you with options and prices based on your individual particular requirements. Where budget is a major factor in the funeral choice, we offer a Direct Burial as an option, which includes the cost of the plot. 

The Traditional Funeral works beautifully as is, though it can be added to in any number of ways, based on what you would like. We can work with you to customise the funeral, for example, by arranging flowers, helping with a dove release, providing memorial cards, incorporating a colour theme, and more, should it be required.

TRADITIONAL FUNERAL PRICE BREAKDOWN

INCLUDED IN THE $2,530 COST:

  • OUR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
    This includes our professional services, administration, expert advice, and help with all official paperwork and funeral planning. It also includes the provision of necessary staff to carry out various requisite functions during the arrangements - from your personal funeral arranger to behind the scenes service operatives.
  • COLLECTION OF YOUR LOVED ONE INTO OUR CARE
    We will collect your loved one and bring them into our care, any time of the day or night, within a 25-mile radius of the M25. For further afield, additional mileage is charged at £2 per mile.
  • CARE OF YOUR LOVED ONE AT HARRISON PREMISES
    We look after your loved one at our private premises from the day we collect them to the day of their funeral. Per your directions, we can dress them in clothing provided by you, or a simple, white funeral shroud.
  • HEARSE TO TRANSPORT THE DECEASED TO THE CEMETERY OR CREMATORIUM
    On the morning of the cremation, we will transport your loved one to the cemetery or crematorium, meeting mourners at the location.
  • FUNERAL DIRECTOR & PALLBEARERS
    Our team will escort your loved one on the day of the funeral. This includes 4 pallbearers to carry the coffin. It also includes a professional Funeral Director to lead the traditional funeral procession.
  • MUSIC OF YOUR CHOICE
    Music of your choice can be played at the service.
  • COLLECTING CREMATED REMAINS FROM THE CREMATORIUM ON YOUR BEHALF
    For cremations, we will collect and return the cremated remains to a family member locally. The official Cremation Certificate will be included, which confirms who was cremated and when. The Certificate should be kept with the ashes, especially if you are taking them abroad.

NOT INCLUDED IN THE $2,530 COST:

  • DOCTOR'S FEES (CREMATION ONLY)
    It is a legal requirement for a doctor/doctors to sign the Certificate of Cremation. Since COVID-19, only one doctor has been needed, with a fee of $82. Please note that this is subject to change at any time by the government, reverting back to a statutory requirement of 2 doctors, with two individual payments of $82.
  • CREMATION FEES / CEMETERY FEES & PLOT
    Individual crematoria and cemeteries charge different prices, so prices vary. After we discuss your requirements we will provide you with options and prices.
  • COFFIN
    Choose from our quality coffin options, which will include your loved one's name etched onto a plate and fixed to the outside.
  • VIEWINGS IN THE CHAPEL
    Viewings can be arranged at your request in our Chapel of Rest. During office hours, this would cost $200 because your loved one will need care before you sit with them.
  • LIMOUSINE/S
    We are able to provide limousines for $250 per car to escort the family to and from the funeral. This includes the limousine driver.
  • FLOWERS
    Flowers can be arranged on your behalf and placed with the coffin. From a single stem, to a simple posy, to a large custom wreath, we can help coordinate flowers for you.
  • CREMATED REMAINS COURIER DELIVERY
    We can arrange a courier to deliver the ashes to you anywhere in the UK. Prices are available upon request and are based on third-party fees. You are of course welcome to arrange a courier yourself.

Payment terms: Fees are payable 48 hours before the funeral taking place. Payment can be made via bank transfer, direct debit and all major credit cards.
